At the end of the session, the attendee will be able to: 1) Employ appropriate breast imaging work-up to accurately evaluate potential breast lesions found on mammography and ultrasound. 2) Differentiate benign from malignant processes and understand both common and rare diagnoses in the breast. 3) Incorporate information from multiple breast imaging modalities to optimize interpretation and patient management. 4) Integrate an understanding of breast pathology and the limitations of core biopsy methods together with the imaging features to improve patient outcomes.
